CatPaW Privacy Policy

CatPaW ("the App") is a client application that connects to a server you provide. The App is developed by WCWS Internet LLC ("we", "us"). This privacy policy explains how data is handled when you use the App.

The App transmits data exclusively to the server URL you configure during setup. The App developer does not operate this server and has no access to your data.

Data transmitted to your server

• Chat messages you type (for AI processing and response generation)
• Your username and password (for authentication)
• Your device name (for session identification)

Data transmitted to Apple

• APNs device token (for push notification delivery)

No data is transmitted to the App developer or any other third party.

Your server may use AI services (such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or others) to process your messages and generate responses. The specific AI service depends on your server configuration and is not controlled by this App.

When you send a message, it travels from the App to your server. Your server may then forward the message to an AI service for processing. This happens entirely on your infrastructure, under your control.

We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any AI services configured on your server.

The App itself does not share your data with any third party. The App contains no analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking tools.

The only external service the App communicates with directly (besides your server) is Apple Push Notification service (APNs), which delivers push notifications to your device.

• Authentication tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain (hardware-encrypted)
• Server URL is stored in app preferences
• Messages are not cached on-device; they are loaded from your server on demand
• All network communication uses HTTPS/WSS (encrypted in transit)

Since all data is stored on your own server, you have full control over data retention and deletion. Within the App, you can:

• Clear your chat history at any time (Settings > Clear Chat History)
• Delete your account and all associated data (Settings > Delete Account & Data)
• Log out to remove all locally stored credentials
• Revoke AI data consent (Settings > Data & Privacy)

The App is not intended for use by children under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in App updates. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
